LEAD REPAIRMAN

Our Mission

We aspire to lead a quiet life, work with our hands, and mind our business in order to earn respect & and not be dependent on anybody.

1 Thessalonians 4:11-12

Our Story

In 2018, I accidentally started a construction company.

Really. The story of Legacy began that year, deep in the backwoods of Alabama. Inside a rock overhang, I stumbled upon what would become our mission statement. It comes straight from the Bible - 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12: 'Aspire to lead a quiet life, work with your hands, and mind your own business, so that you may earn the respect of outsiders and not be dependent on anybody.'
I jotted it down in my notebook and scribbled next to it: This is what I’m going to do with my life.

That verse guided me into becoming a handyman. By prioritizing integrity, honesty, and purpose in my work, demand grew quickly. To keep serving my customers and community well, I built a team of people committed to the same mission. Today, Legacy has two divisions designed to handle home projects of every scale. It’s been a whirlwind, but our dedication and integrity have been richly rewarded.

When you work with us, I hope you’ll keep that mission in mind—it shapes everything we do. Whether or not you share our faith, I trust you’ll feel the difference that comes from being part of something bigger than ourselves.

We look forward to serving you and earning your respect.

Legacy Repairs & Remodeling

Our Business

As we expanded into larger home remodeling projects, we realized that managing big and small jobs the same way led to overcharging, undercharging, or disorganization. To better serve our clients, we created two distinct divisions: Repairs and Remodeling.

Our Repairs division focuses on handyman & home repair jobs, handling everything in-house and typically billing based on time and materials.

Our Remodeling division handles projects that require thoughtful planning and design. From in-house measurements and layouts to budgeting, bidding, and material selection, we tailor every step to fit your style, needs, timeline, and budget—delivering a clear, fixed-cost construction project.

F.A.Q

  • At Legacy Repairs & Remodeling, we stand behind every nail, tile, and finish with complete confidence. That’s why we offer a 100% Workmanship Guarantee on every project we complete.

We believe that integrity means doing the job right the first time—and if something isn’t right, we make it right. Our guarantee covers all labor and workmanship for one full year from the date of project completion. If any aspect of our work falls short of professional standards due to workmanship, we will promptly repair or replace it at no additional cost to you.

This guarantee is a reflection of our commitment to honesty, purpose, and enduring quality. We build each project as if we’re building it for our own families, because we know our reputation—and your home—matters.

  • We carry a Class A contractor License, as well as full Liability, Auto, and Worker's Compensation Insurance.

  • We offer a 1 year workmanship warranty on all work we provide. Many of our materials are also covered by manufacturer's warranties.

  • The design deposit is based off of the preliminary project ballpark - usually at 5%.

This is then refundable to the final cost of the project.

  • On a Remodeling project, The final proposal price is a fixed cost estimate - meaning that the scope of work is guaranteed at that price. The only way this number will change is by a change order acknowledged by both you and us - generally caused by unforeseen/hidden issues discovered during demolition, or additional items/ upgrades added on by you during the process.

  • We are a traditional for-profit company, organized around Christian values such as integrity, humility, honesty, and purpose. It is not required of anyone to hold to any particular faith or set of beliefs to work with us or for us - other than a commitment to our mission statement.

  • You are not committed to pursuing the project to completion until the contract is signed at the end of the planning phase - if for any reason you are not ready to proceed after the initial deposit, your initial deposit will cover work completed up to that point and you will be presented with all created deliverables (such as floor plans and mood boards)

  • Legacy Repairs & Remodeling has been built around the goal of pursuing the Lord Jesus Christ through everyday acts and the biblical tenants of minding our own business, working with our hands, winning the respect of outsiders, and not being dependent on anybody (1 Thessalonians 4:11–12) are the foundation of what we do.

While Christianity is not expected of any employee, our core values of Integrity, Honesty, and Purpose are expected to be upheld by all employees no matter their religious affiliation. Legacy Repairs & Remodeling is not affiliated with any particular Christian denomination nor does it discriminate against any employee based on religious affiliation or practices.
